Mission
To be a highly
responsive software organization that provides the Assisted Living
Industry with specific software applications that recognizes both
the care needs of the residents and the unique business needs
of the providers.
The Company's
goal is to produce a software program that is effective and efficient
in it's ability to:
1) provide
comprehensive operational tools for the management of resident
services
2) improve the quality of care to residents
3) organize staffing to maximize the utilization of staff talents
and skills
4) accurately capture billable costs.
Through the
Software's various modules, it will provide subscribers with the
tools to increase the quality of care, predict and capture costs,
and increase the profitability of their communities.
Management
Rose Lochmann
is President/CEO of A.L. WIZARD, INC. She has served as the administrator
of independent, assisted living, skilled nursing as well as hospice
organizations. Ms. Lochmann is currently Chief Operating Officer
and Senior Vice President of Operations for Integral Senior Living,
an assisted living management company located in San Diego, California.
She has experience in state and federal codes and regulations
and has advised the California Assembly and the Department of
Social Services in assisted living matters as well as being called
upon to be an expert witness in long term care litigation. Ms.
Lochmann has a master's degree in nursing administration, is a
registered nurse and has over 20 years of health care experience
as an administrator, educator and consultant. A nationally recognized
authority in the design, development and operation of assisted
living and residential Alzheimer's communities, Ms. Lochmann is
also a founding board member and former treasurer of the California
Assisted Living Association. She is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator
and a California licensed Residential Care Facility Administrator.
Robert
A. Szalkiewicz, the Company’s Vice President of
Software Development and Chief Technology Officer, has over 14
years of experience in full-charge computer hardware and software,
sales/service, accounting and business consulting. He has held
positions as an accounting systems consultant and is a Qualified
Installer of ACCPAC enterprise-level accounting software suites.
He began his formal career as staff accountant and automation
consultant and soon thereafter held the position of controller
of a multi-million dollar commercial construction company. Prior
to this he founded a retail hardware/software and service company.
Bob has served as an automation consultant for the Ironworkers
Union in San Diego.
His expertise
is in the areas of informational infrastructure, quality control,
automation training and software development. He has been trained
by Microsoft, Compaq, DEC, Sun, and Citrix, in their latest hardware/software
platforms and is experienced in administering Windows 2000 and
NT networks.
Michael
Rainey, the Company's acting Chief Financial Officer, has
over nine years of experience in accounting and finance. He has
two years experience as a cost accounting manager, three years
as accounting manager, four years as controller and seven years
as CFO. The company he is currently working with, Boston Scientific
Interventional Technologies, generates $150,000, 000 in revenue.
Mike has helped four start-up companies, two in the high-tech
aerospace industry and two in the medical industry. Two of these
companies were successfully merged into major corporations, one
had a successful IPO and the fourth remained privately held.
Education includes an under-graduate degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and postgraduate work at San Diego State and Cal-Poly Pomona.
Directors/Officers
Kent Erickson
is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Pointivity,
Inc. As CEO, he is responsible for providing strategic direction
to Pointivity's executive management team. Before launching Pointivity
in the ASP marketplace, he founded Pointivity's predecessor firm,
Logic Technology Partners, which provided systems integration
solutions and sustained a reputation for unmatched quality of
service. Mr. Erickson's previous experience includes management
of the technology consulting divisions for a number of regional
public accounting firms, where he was responsible for implementing
technology networks. He is an established figure within the IT
industry, and he has chaired various councils, panels, and IT
consortiums in addition to providing consulting on a range of
IT issues. He holds a BS in accounting from San Diego State University
and holds numerous technical certifications
Sue Farrow is Secretary of the Board and has over 27 years of experience in senior housing. In key leadership positions with Aegis Assisted Living, Sunrise Assisted Living and Transamerica Senior Living she has been an integral part of the development, start up, marketing and operation of over 4300 congregate, assisted living and Alzheimer care units. Ms. Farrow is nationally known for her expertise in all phases of operations and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Ms. Farrow received her
B.A summa cum laude in Business Administration in 1984. She was
President of the California Assisted Living Association from 1995
to 1996 and continues as a Director. From 1993 to 1995, Sue was
a Director of the Assisted Living Federation of America, the national
assisted living trade association. Ms. Farrow is a licensed Residential
Care Facility Administrator in the State of California.
Michael Malone is an
experienced senior software executive who has specialized in managing
and growing leading edge technology companies. He has previously
been a successful Chief Executive Officer of Gryphon Software Corporation
and Chief Operating Officer of Stellcom Technologies. He was also
the founding President of the San Diego Software and Internet Council
and has served as a Director and advisor to many San Diego technology
companies.
Prior to his involvement in the technology industry, Mr. Malone spent 8 years with Coopers & Lybrand. He has a Bachelor's in Business Administration (Public Accounting) from Gonzaga University and a juris doctor from Gonzaga School of Law.
Michael
Newhouse is a psychiatric physician with over 30 years of
experience in treating disorders of the elderly. He is a consultant
to 5 Alzheimer treatment facilities. Dr. Newhouse has a post-graduate
training residency in psychiatry from University of California,
San Diego School of Medicine. He is board certified in General
Psychiatry and also in Geriatric Psychiatry. He has been an Assistant
Professor of Medicine in Psychiatry at the University of California
San Diego School of Medicine since 1973.
Franklin T. Lloyd is an attorney with Higgs, Fletcher & Mack, LLP, and has extensive experience in business structures, securities, and banking regulations. He has advised start-up, emerging, and public companies including those engaged in the manufacture of high technology consumer products, electronic hardware and software as well as banks, power producers and physician groups. He started the Exchange Act Reporting and Compliance Group within his firm, concentrating on Exchange Act reporting and compliance for public companies and their officers, directors, and shareholders. Mr. Lloyd has, in addition, had extensive hands-on experience in the operation of complex businesses, having served as the co-president of a software company and as a founders and a director of a national banking corporation. He also served as an officer, director, and general counsel of an NYSE company engaged in oil, gas, coal and uranium exploration and production.
Mr. Lloyd is a graduate of the Harvard Law School and is a member of the California Bar Association
